Ty was named Apogee’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s board of directors in January 2021.

Ty joined Apogee following over 20 years at 3M where he built a track record of success, leading change, driving growth, and strengthening the operational performance of several global business units. His most recent role was Senior Vice President of Transformation, Technologies and Services, where he worked to reshape 3M’s efforts in process and digital transformation to further enable growth and productivity. Prior to this position, he held several global business unit leadership roles, serving as Vice President and General Manager for divisions within three of 3M’s business groups, including Safety & Industrial, Transportation & Electronics, and Consumer. Earlier in his career, he served in a variety of roles in sales, marketing, and management, including Six Sigma business group director.

Ty’s experience outside of 3M includes running his own startup eCommerce company and working at Ashland, Inc. He earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is an active volunteer in his community and a member of several alumni and charitable organizations.

Jane is the President of Apogee’s Large-Scale Optical segment, which operates under the brand name Tru Vue. Since she joined the company in 2006, Tru Vue has established itself as a recognized global leader and innovator in the framing and display market, manufacturing the highest quality products in its industry. She led the business through a successful strategic transformation focused on new product development and expansion into adjacent markets, which has delivered consistent profitable growth.

Prior to joining Apogee, Jane held general management and marketing leadership roles in consumer packaged goods companies. She was North American General Manager and Vice President of Marketing for Equal Sweetener (Merisant) for 4 years. Prior to this role, Jane held management and marketing roles with United Signature Foods, Quaker Oats and Kraft Foods.

Jane has an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University.

Meghan was appointed Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in June 2020. In this role she has overall responsibility for all legal matters at Apogee, corporate governance, and compliance, as well as providing direct legal support for the company’s Viracon business unit. She joined Apogee in 2014 and previously served as Assistant General Counsel and concurrently served as General Counsel of Viracon.

Before joining Apogee, Meghan was a partner at the law firm Lindquist & Vennum (now known as Ballard Spahr), where she worked for 12 years practicing in the areas of litigation and insurance recovery. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Brent was named President of Apogee’s Architectural Glass Segment in October 2023. He provides strategic, financial, and overall operational leadership for Apogee’s Architectural Glass Segment. Brent joined Apogee in 2018 as Senior Vice President, Business Development and Strategy. In that role he led efforts to develop Apogee’s business strategy to effectively compete and deliver exceptional results and was responsible for implementing increased cross business collaboration and driving top-line growth. He was named President, Architectural Framing Systems in August 2019 where oversaw significant transformation of the Architectural Framing Systems Segment.

Prior to Apogee, Brent spent seven years at Valspar, a global leader in the coatings industry, where he held senior level positions in their General Industrial Americas and North America Wood Coatings divisions. Before Valspar, Brent held senior level positions in sales, marketing and general management at NewPage, a leading manufacturer of coated printing and specialty papers.

Brent holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.

Troy was named President of Apogee’s Architectural Services segment (Harmon) in 2020. He joined Apogee in 2011, serving in several leadership roles in the company’s Harmon business unit before being promoted to his current role. Under his leadership, Harmon has become one of the leading full-service curtainwall and glass installation companies in North America. He credits the ongoing success of the business to having passionate and talented people coupled with thoughtful process, data analytics, and a continuous learning culture for all employees.

Troy has more than two decades of experience in the glass and glazing industry after starting his career as an environmental engineer at Marathon Oil Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University and attended the Minnesota Management Institute (MMI) program at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

Nick was named President of the Architectural Framing Systems Segment in October 2023. He is responsible for setting the strategy and driving performance of this Segment. He joined Apogee in 2021 as President of the Architectural Glass Segment.

Nick has a record of accomplishments across multiple industries. Before joining Apogee, Nick was Chief Executive Officer for Harvey Building Products, a manufacturer and distributor of replacement and new construction windows, doors, and accessory products. Prior to Harvey, Nick held functional and businesses leadership roles at Colfax, Rexnord Corporation, and Danaher Corporation.

Nick holds a Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration (GSIA), Carnegie Mellon University; and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

Matt joined Apogee as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2023. He leads all aspects of the company’s financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, global tax compliance, investor relations, internal audit, risk management and finance excellence.

Matt brings more than 20 years of experience as a finance leader. Before joining Apogee, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Helen of Troy Limited, a global consumer products company. Previously, Matt worked for seven years in finance roles at Best Buy Co., Inc., ultimately serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Regional Vice President of Best Buy Mexico. Earlier in his career, Matt worked ten years in public accounting at Ernst & Young LLP.

Michelle joined Apogee in 2023 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). She leads Apogee’s information technology team to provide solutions that streamline Apogee’s business operations through technology and process improvement. She is responsible for developing and implementing Apogee’s digital vision and plan, ensuring it aligns with the company’s strategy and supports the needs of our business and customers. 

Michelle brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in information technology, program management, accounting, and finance in both public and private companies. Prior to joining Apogee, she served as Senior Vice President, Information Technology for Cirrus Aircraft, where she led the company’s enterprise digital information strategy, championing the use of information and technology in business model design, business process reengineering, and product and service development. Previously, Michelle held leadership roles at ATK (Alliant Techsystems), Gelco Information Network, and Carlson Companies.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and a Mini-Master’s degree in Information Technology from St. Thomas University. She serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland and is member of the Minnesota CIO Network. In 2022, she was recognized as Chief Information Officer of the Year for a Large Corporate by the Minnesota ORBIE Award, the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States.
