Celebrating Apogee's 75th Anniversary

During the week of July 8-12, Apogee marked its 75th anniversary, with celebratory events across our locations in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil. Founded as the Harmon Glass Company on July 12, 1949, the company began with a single shop in Minneapolis. From this beginning, we’ve built a record of growth and innovation, leading to the company we are all a part of today.

The anniversary events began with a Town Hall meeting on July 9. The Town Hall featured remarks from Apogee’s CEO, Ty Silberhorn, and the debut of a special 75th anniversary video highlighting employee testimonials from various locations, sharing their experiences and insights into Apogee's future.

After the Town Hall concluded, the festivities continued throughout all Apogee locations. The week-long celebrations included raffle prizes, a delicious BBQ lunch, and other activities to strengthen employee bonds. Each location had its own special touch – from outdoor cafeterias to Apogee-themed balloon arches, and even a surprise visit from Caitlin Clark!

The 75th anniversary celebration was not just a look back at the company's achievements but a celebration of our people and their unwavering commitment to excellence. It reinforced the values that have been the cornerstone of Apogee's success and set a hopeful tone for the future, inspiring everyone to continue striving for greatness.
